Occasionally PS may show that zero rooms have been sold on any given day. This can be corrected by following these steps.
Begin my navigating from the Main Menu > Accounting > Import Accounting Actuals screen. Uncheck the Is Closed box for the property and period for which the error is occurring. Be sure to save your changes.
Next, navigate to the Site level. Ensure that the System Date is the same Month and Year as the period you need to correct. The specific day does not matter. In this example, we are correcting Period 12 of 2023, so we need to be in December 2023.
Then navigate to Main Menu > Site Reports > Rooms Stats. Take a screenshot of this report. This is that data that you will need to update your records.
Next navigate to the Input Journals screen by going from the Main Menu > Accounting > Input Journals. Identify the Income Journal you need to correct and click the List icon.
Click on Clone, and then confirm using the green checkmark.
Once complete, use the Return button to return to the Input Journals screen.
Return to the Import Accounting Actuals screen and re-import the General Ledger Detail report from M3 to update the system with all of your changes, or wait until your next regularly scheduled import.
After the M3 import is complete, rerun the Room Stats report to confirm that your data has updated and is now accurate.
Once satisfied with the data displaying, return to the Import Accounting Actuals screen. Recheck the Is Closed box.
