What is a Release?
- A Release is an update to the ProfitSword system that needs to be applied to the customer site.

How do I know which release version I am currently on?
- The version your site is on is displayed in the lower left hand corner of your ProfitSword site.
How do I learn about the new features and enhancements in each release?
- A new article is added to the Knowledge Portal with detailed information regarding the latest release. You may also visit the Latest Release Notes section under your Help menu in ProfitSword.
How often are Releases available?
- Approximately every 6 weeks
How will I be notified of these releases?
- If there is a ticket opened waiting on a release, the Support team will notify you through the ticket.
- If no ticket is available, a Customer Success or a Customer Support member will notify the customers when releases are available.
Is there downtime?
- System downtime is approximately 10 minutes. We ask that all users are out of the system during the install.
How do I communicate this to users?
- You can use the Splash Message Screen within the ProfitSword system or an internal email distribution.
How is the Release applied?
- ProfitSword's team applies the release to the site.
When do releases get applied?
- Monday & Wednesday between 9am - 10:30am & 4pm - 5:30pm
