The Hook: Use this workflow to create or modify templates that dictate which screens and reports a group of users can access.
Prerequisites:
- Must be logged into the Corporate Level.
- Requires Corporate Admin permissions.
The Steps:
- Navigate to Admin > User Menu Template.
- Click Add (+) to create a new template or the Edit icon to modify an existing template,.
- Enter a Label (Name) and Sort Order for the template.
- Check Is Corp and/or Is Site to define the access level.
Click Save.
- Click the Edit icon next to the new template to assign specific pages.
Check the boxes next to the menu pages (e.g., Reports, Forecast, Budget, or individual access, such as Input Forecast > Revenue ) to grant access.
Scroll to the Roles section at the bottom and check necessary permissions (see User Roles Glossary).
Click Save.
The Result Validation:
- Success: The template appears in the dropdown list on the User Administration screen when adding or editing users.
Troubleshooting:
- Note: You cannot delete a template if active users are currently assigned to it.
