The Hook:
- Use this workflow to upload property photos, logos, and splash screen images for use in ProfitPlan pages, reports, and the welcome slideshow.
Prerequisites:
- File Naming is Critical: Images intended for specific properties must be renamed to match the Site Tag before uploading (e.g., if the Site Tag is
015, the file must be named015.jpg). - Permissions: Requires access to the Image Monitor (found under the Corporate Admin menu or Site level).
- Logos: To add a logo to reports, the file must be named
Logo.gif.
The Steps:
Phase 1: Determine the Site Tag:
- Navigate to Admin Menu > Administrative Tools.
- Select Site Extras.
- Locate the property in the list and identify the Site Tag number (e.g.,
015). - Rename your image file on your computer to match this tag (e.g.,
015.jpg).
Phase 2: Upload the Image
- Navigate to Corporate > Admin > Image Monitor.
- Note: Site users can access this via Site > Plan Image Monitor.
- Select the appropriate folder for your image type:
- Client Images (Sites Folder): Select this for images used in ProfitPlan Pages and exported reports.
- Splash: Select this for images used in the Dashboard Welcome Slideshow widget.
- Click the Upload Files option located in the top center of the screen.
- Browse and select the renamed image file from your computer.
- Click the Green Checkmark in the pop-up window to confirm the upload.
The Result:
- Success: The screen displays an "Upload Successful" message, and the image appears in the file list. The ProfitPlan module now associates that image with the specific site based on the filename.
Troubleshooting & Common Scenarios:
- Uploading Logos: To ensure your logo appears on reports, you must upload a file named exactly
Logo.gifinto the Client Images folder. - Wrong Image Displaying: If the wrong image appears for a property, verify that the filename exactly matches the Site Tag found in the Site Extras screen.
- If trying to add a logo to the excel exports and it's not working - check the Admin -> System Options -> Use Logo In Excel Printing and toggle this to yes.
