PS: ProfitWizard Tags for Reporting

Each item in the ProfitWizard database has a designated tag assigned to it. These tags are sometimes used by clients for writing elaborate report structures through ProfitWizard. In the following article we will walk you through the steps to access these designated ProfitWizard tags. 

Launch Excel and access a pivot table via your ProfitWizard connection. In the following example, we will review tags associated with Items in your ProfitWizard. 

Set up your pivot table to have the Items in your Rows on your table:

Expand the items that you have designated in your table for items.  In our example, we have added rooms. We will expand on Rooms Revenue. When at a level you would like to proceed, right click your mouse on a GL:

Choose "Show Properties in Reports"

The pivot table will insert a "PW ID" column with your specific designated ProfitWizard ID for your individual lines. 

This process can be done for sites and items in ProfitWizard.
