PS: Keyboard Shortcuts

Copy and Paste:

• CTRL + C:  To copy desired highlighted text

• CTRL + V: To paste desired text into a new location.

Save:

• CTRL + S: To save the updated information within the system. The system does not have an autosave.

Fill Operations:

• CTRL + down arrow: To fill the same data from one area down the rest of the column. Used commonly within the 12 Month screen within the Forecast and Budgeting Input Screens. 
• CTRL + up arrow: To fill the same data from one area down the rest of the column. Used commonly within the 12 Month screen within the Forecast and Budgeting Input Screens. 
• CTRL + left arrow: To fill the same data from one area to the left of the row. Used commonly within the By Periods screen within the Forecast and Budgeting Input Screens. 

• CTRL + right arrow: To fill the same data from one area to the right of the row. Used commonly within the By Periods screen within the Forecast and Budgeting Input Screens.

Spell Checker:

• CTRL+ right click on a misspelled word to bring up correcting recommendations on PS screens. 
  • Note for Mac Users: In order for Mac users to access the standard ProfitSword “right click” menu, user can no longer use ctrl + click. Instead, user must simulate “right click” using two fingers on track pad/magic mouse.
